We were fortunate enough to start our US extravaganza with a four day stay (2-6 May) at the magnificent Quay West apartments in Sydney's Rocks, courtesy of John and Jan Doherty who own the apartment. Our biggest challenge now remains convincing the boys that this is not the standard of accommodation we are likely to be staying in for the duration of the trip!!
